Reddit account health checker — currently suspended
This tool is off, and we would rather say so than show you a result we cannot stand behind.
It relied on reading a Reddit account's public profile directly from your browser. Reddit closed that access in July 2026, and the fallback we had is blocked too. Karma, account age and the shadowban signal are simply not reachable for us right now, so the honest answer is that the tool cannot do what its name promises.
What still works today
Two of our free tools need nothing from Reddit's API and are unaffected: the AutoMod simulator, which shows the patterns that get comments auto-removed, and the Reddit markdown editor. For checking a shadowban yourself in the meantime: open the profile at reddit.com/user/<name> in a logged-out private window — if it 404s there but works while you are logged in, that is the classic signal.

What makes a Reddit account "healthy" enough to post?
Most subreddits' AutoModerator rules filter by comment karma and account age. As a rule of thumb, 50+ karma and 30+ days of age clears the bar in the majority of communities; large or strict subreddits often require more. A healthy account also has a visible public profile and few recently removed comments.
Why do my comments keep disappearing on Reddit?
Usually one of three things: the subreddit's AutoModerator filters low-karma or new accounts, a moderator removed the comment for breaking a rule, or the account is shadowbanned so nothing you post is visible to others. This checker looks for all three signals.
Is it safe to check my account here?
Yes. The check runs in your own browser against Reddit's public endpoints. There is no login, no OAuth grant, and no password involved — we only read what anyone can already see on your public profile.
How much karma do I need before promoting my product?
There is no universal number, but pitching from an account with under 100 comment karma is likely to get filtered or removed in most business subreddits. Build karma first by being genuinely helpful — aim for roughly nine helpful comments for every one that mentions your product.
